to qualify is to plan to have a birthday sometime in 2010 and enjoy the

December 27, 2009 so you can even ask your family and friends for cruise
donations or other fun things to take with you as a Christmas gift!!

Ladies Birthday Cruise 2010
Additional Information
A deposit of $150 per person will need to be paid when the cabin in booked.
The deposit is fully refundable until December 27th. All prices are per
person and include taxes and fees. Credit card payments can be made at
any time until full payment is required (Dec. 27th).
Gratuities of $40 ($10/day) will also be required. They can be prepaid
or paid on the cruise. The $10/day gratuities include: $3.50 Per Day Stateroom
Services, $5.50 Per Day Dining Room Services, and $1.00 Per Day Alternative
Services (distributed to other kitchen and hotel service staff). For beverage
purchases, fifteen percent of the bill is automatically added to the Sail
& Sign charge. Room Service staff may be tipped as service is rendered.
Tipping your Maître d’ is at your discretion, based upon the
service you receive.
The Carnival's
Cruise Vacation Protection Plan is available, but is not required.
The Protection Plan per person price is $49 on an interior cabin, $65
for an ocean view room, $95 on a balcony and $109 on a suite. The insurance
allows you to cancel the booking, for a covered reason, and receive a
partial refund (plus other insurance coverage). See the above link for

A fuel surcharge is possible if the price of crude oil exceeds $70/barrel.
If it does, the surcharge will be $36 ($9 per person per day).
Port
of Galveston Parking - If you park at the dock you can prepay parking
on-line; and it is $40 per car. (A savings of $5.) See the above link
for details.
Travel
Document Requirements - A passport is not required for closed-loop
cruises, but it is recommended. See link for details. A certified birth
certificate and a goverment issued photo id is required if you don't have
a passport. If you were born in Texas you can get a certified copy of
your birth certificated at the Texas
Department of State Health Services. They can be ordered on-line or
picked up at their office in Austin in about 15 minutes.
